Cancellation & Refunds
This page explains cancellation, expiry, refund, and payment-issue handling for EduSam UPSC.
1. Current purchase model
Current iOS Pro plans are non-renewing: Monthly provides 30 days of access and Yearly provides 365 days of access. They do not automatically renew. Website/Android purchases are handled according to the one-time or non-renewing terms shown in the applicable purchase flow. If a future product is explicitly offered as auto-renewing, its renewal and cancellation terms will be shown before purchase.
2. Expiry and cancellation
For a non-renewing purchase, there is no future recurring debit to cancel; access continues until the purchased access period expires. If you purchase a future auto-renewing product, cancellation must be completed using the cancellation controls provided by the platform or payment provider used for that purchase.
3. Website/Android payment issues
For supported payments processed through Razorpay or an official EduSam UPSC purchase flow, contact support@edusamacharcg.in from your registered account where possible. Include the payment/order ID, payment date, amount, registered account details, and a brief description of the issue. Do not send full card details, CVV, UPI PIN, OTP, or banking password.
4. iOS/App Store purchases
Apple processes payments and controls refund decisions for purchases made through the iOS App Store. Requests relating to an Apple transaction may need to be submitted through Apple’s purchase-history or refund process. EduSam UPSC can assist with entitlement or access verification but cannot override Apple’s refund decision.
5. Refund eligibility
For eligible direct website/Android transactions, refund requests are considered case by case. Circumstances that may qualify include a duplicate charge, an accidental duplicate transaction, or a successful charge where paid access was not provisioned because of a verified technical error. Where possible, contact us within 7 days of the transaction with the relevant payment details.
6. Non-refundable or limited cases
Unless required by law or the applicable platform’s rules, we generally do not provide pro-rated or partial refunds merely because part of a purchased digital-access period remains unused. A refund may also be declined where substantial digital access has already been used, the request is abusive or fraudulent, account sharing or material policy violations are detected, the purchase period is already consumed, or the payment platform does not permit us to issue the refund.
7. Processing time
For an approved refund that EduSam UPSC is able to process directly, we aim to initiate the refund within 3 working days after approval. The amount may then take approximately 5–7 working days, or longer in some cases, to appear in the original payment method depending on Razorpay, the bank, UPI provider, card network, or other payment partner. Apple-controlled refunds follow Apple’s timelines.
8. Failed or pending payments
If money appears to be debited but access is not activated, contact support with the transaction details. Some failed or pending transactions may automatically reverse through the bank or payment network without action from EduSam UPSC.
9. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If you raise a chargeback or payment dispute, access associated with the disputed transaction may be paused while the case is reviewed. Contacting support first may allow a technical or entitlement issue to be resolved more quickly.
